WARDOGS Patch 0.11: Server Browser & Community Changes

Patch 0.11 focuses on finding and returning to servers: Official and Community lists are separated, Community servers gain text search, and their IDs persist through matches and restarts. Its announcement scheduled maintenance for September 14 at 08:00 UTC. The announced 5% end-of-match cash bonus was a one-week Community-server promotion.

What changed in the server browser

ChangeHow it helps when choosing a server
Separate Official and Community browsersChoose the appropriate list before searching for a named community.
Community text searchSearch the server name instead of scanning the entire list.
More reliable Community filteringAdjust filters if the expected server is absent.
Show Empty / Full quick-bar optionsInclude the relevant population states when looking for a particular server.
Persistent Community server IDsUse the server’s current unique ID to return after a map change or restart.
Official filters removedUse the Community browser for the filtering options described in this patch.
Naming and alphabetical ordering changesSpecial characters and numbers no longer provide the previous naming-order advantage.
Host button destination correctedThe hosting entry points to the intended location.

Find a Community server and return to it

A server not appearing in a filtered list does not by itself show that the entire game is offline. Check the chosen browser, search text and population filters first. A full server and an empty server are different cases.

  1. Open the Community browser when looking for a specific community. The Official list is separate.
  2. Search a distinctive part of the name. If nothing appears, check your active filters and the Show Empty / Full options.
  3. Compare the intended name and server details before joining, particularly if several results look similar.
  4. Keep the server’s current unique ID if you want to return. Patch 0.11 changes IDs so they persist between matches and restarts; the new IDs are longer.
  5. Use the current ID when joining again. If an older saved ID does not resolve, search the name and obtain the current ID instead of repeatedly retrying the old one.

The 5% cash bonus was temporary

The announcement offered Community servers an additional 5% end-of-match cash bonus for the following week. It was a limited launch-period promotion, not a permanent multiplier for every reward.

For a new budget, use the reward conditions currently shown in the game. Keep any promotion separate from ordinary task earnings and from the money needed to buy your next kit. Do not add 5% to every revive, delivery or kill in a planning spreadsheet.

Other changes and what remained planned

The notes also list fixes for cash exploits, further GPU-crash work and increased Asian server capacity. Those entries describe the update’s scope; they do not establish an FPS improvement or guarantee that every crash is resolved.

Community-server favourites, tiered priority queues, a Message of the Day prompt, improved warmup activities, an AFK-kicking option during seeding and team-switching controls were listed as upcoming work. They were not presented as completed 0.11 features.

When checking a later update, look for an explicit release entry for these features before relying on them in a server-selection routine.
