WARDOGS Season 1 Changes: FOB Prices, Unlocks & Progression
Season 1 reworked progression for longer play and raised the cost of building equipment. Recheck FOB and Large Hammer purchases, Artillery’s Career level and Heavy Tank’s Driver requirement before following a beta progression route.

Building costs and permanent access
The launch changes increased the vendor cost of the Forward Operating Base and Large Hammer. The Large Hammer Support unlock became a larger separate payment. This changes both the first-time entry budget and the cost of repeating a building deployment.
A cheap beta building route can therefore understate what a new Season 1 character must spend. Use the current equipment table for the two cost types rather than treating an unlock price as a vendor price.
| Equipment | Vendor purchase | One-time unlock | Track / level | Purchase unit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Forward Operating Base | $7,500 | Not listed | Not listed | one FOB |
| Large Hammer | $2,400 | $75,000 | Support 8 | one tool |
| Medium Hammer | Not listed | $25,000 | Support · level not listed | one tool |
Track changes that affect long-term goals
Artillery Tank moved from Career 55 to Career 90. Heavy Tank moved from Career 35 to Driver 35: the number stayed the same, but the progression track changed.
The Driver route was reordered. URAL moved to level 3, Dune Buggy to level 8 and Kodiak Flatbed to level 10. Check the named vehicle variant; a covered, flatbed or armed version is not interchangeable with every vehicle in the same family.
Why beta leveling estimates no longer fit
The launch XP curve slowed the earlier middle levels to support progression beyond a weekend test. The change is especially relevant around levels 10–20, while the curve flattens from level 35 onward.
Air-vehicle kills changed from 300 to 250 XP. Supply-crate sales below $75 changed from 25 to 1 XP. A route built around repeating very low-value supply transactions therefore needs to be reassessed.
Choose tasks that help the team and suit the equipment you can afford. The patch does not establish a universal fastest route or a guaranteed hourly income.
What to review in an existing loadout
- Replace old building-equipment prices with the Season 1 vendor values.
- Check unpaid unlock fees separately, especially Large Hammer and specialist vehicles.
- Check the progression track as well as the level number for the target item.
- Recheck available inventory space: 155mm, 122mm and flare deployables take more space under the launch changes.
- Recalculate how many complete purchases your cash supports before returning to the same role.
