WARDOGS Control Zone: Scoring & Team Tasks

Three teams compete for a control zone. The team with the most players inside earns points, and the first team to reach 100 points wins. Reaching and maintaining presence in the zone is the central task.

How a team scores

The control zone is a randomized 2 × 2 km area within a larger map. Its location can change between matches, so a route from an older match is not a permanently fixed objective route.

Scoring rewards having the most players within the zone. A fight far away from it can consume equipment without improving your team’s control. When choosing where to go, relate the engagement to how it helps teammates enter or remain in the objective area.

A practical pre-deployment sequence

  1. Locate the current control zone instead of assuming it matches the last round.
  2. Look at what is preventing your team from establishing presence: transport, losses, supply or the approach itself.
  3. Choose equipment for one task you can carry out.
  4. Check the purchase against your remaining cash and reserve a fallback kit.
  5. Move with that task in mind and reassess when the situation changes.

Keep scoring and cash decisions connected

Teamplay actions, including transporting friendlies and controlling the objective, can earn cash. This lets support actions contribute to both the match and your economy.

The more expensive option is not automatically the right option. A vehicle with no useful transport or combat job can tie up money that would have kept you participating on foot. Spend for a task, then judge the purchase by whether that task was completed.
