WARDOGS Revive Guide: Emergency Resuscitator & Bandages
Approach a downed teammate and choose Revive from the player interaction list; the PC prompt shows F. An Emergency Resuscitator provides a faster, single-use revive and is limited to one per life. After reviving someone, equip bandages and use the heal-friend action to restore their health.

Ordinary revive and emergency revive are different
You can revive a fallen teammate without spending an Emergency Resuscitator. Use the normal Revive interaction when the position gives you enough time. Keep the quicker option in mind when the team needs a faster recovery.
| Method | Use and limit |
|---|---|
| Revive interaction | Gets a downed teammate back into action. You need to reach the teammate and complete the interaction. |
| Emergency Resuscitator | Revives a teammate faster; the vendor lists it at $0. Single-use and one per life. A free price does not make it reusable. |
| Bandage | Heals yourself or a friendly player. Healing after a revive is a separate step; check your remaining supply. |
Complete a revive without choosing the wrong action
A faster item reduces the time spent reviving; it does not make the approach safe. Ask another teammate to cover the rescue, and avoid sending several players through the same exposed route.
- Locate the downed teammate and check the direction of incoming fire before crossing to them.
- Approach until the player interaction list appears. Select Revive rather than Loot; Drag is a separate option in the same list.
- Follow the displayed interaction prompt. The PC demonstration shows F beside Revive. Stay close enough to complete the action.
- If you brought an unused Emergency Resuscitator, select it from your equipped items when you need the quicker revive.
- Confirm that the teammate is back up, then move into cover and check whether they need healing.
Prepare the Emergency Resuscitator before leaving the vendor
Look in the vendor’s Items area for Emergency Resuscitator. Its tooltip identifies it as a Medical / Quick Slot item, with a $0 price, one-per-life restriction and single-use behavior. Add it to your loadout and check its equipped position before deployment.
The same tooltip lists Medic XP as its reward category. Treat that as a reason to help the team, not a fixed income or leveling-rate promise. After using it, continue with ordinary revives when safe rather than expecting another free rapid revive during the same life.
Heal the teammate after the revive
Equip a bandage and face the injured teammate at close range. Use the heal-friend action shown on screen rather than the heal-self action. Check that you are treating the intended player before spending the supply.
Reviving and healing solve different problems. Getting someone back on their feet does not mean you should immediately leave them exposed. Recover behind cover, heal as needed and leave enough room for both players to move back into the fight.
Check your remaining bandages before the next rescue. If you keep running out while helping the same squad, increase the reserve for the next deployment; if you repeatedly die with most of them unused, improve the route before buying more.
Troubleshoot a failed rescue
| Symptom | Next check |
|---|---|
| The interaction shows Loot | Read and select the Revive entry while targeting the teammate. |
| No revive prompt appears | Move into interaction range and check the teammate’s current state. Do not assume every body is still revivable. |
| The quick revive is unavailable | Check whether the Emergency Resuscitator was equipped and whether you already used the one for this life. |
| You heal yourself instead of the teammate | Face the friendly player and use the heal-friend prompt. |
| The revived teammate goes down again | Reassess enemy fire and cover before repeating the same rescue route. |
Turn the rescue into a repeatable role
Stay close enough to the squad to reach a casualty, but keep a covered position and a working rifle. A support run needs a safe approach, medical supplies and enough ammunition to remain useful between rescues.
