AK74 ammunition and fire modes

Choose the matching ammunition and magazine through the rifle’s own attachment menu. A spare magazine is not the same as loose ammunition: the magazine is ready for a reload, while reserve ammunition lets you refill magazines when you have time.

Check the mode before entering a fight. Use individual shots when you need deliberate aim, and controlled bursts when using full auto. Reposition and reload behind cover instead of carrying more ammunition as a substitute for a safe reload window.

Four Reticle Reflex on the AK74

The Four Reticle Reflex provides 1.2x magnification and fixed zeroing. Its listed benefit is a moderate ADS-speed improvement. A low-magnification view suits a different task from a high-power scope: decide whether your route involves nearby targets or longer sightlines before spending money on the optic.

Try the sight picture and aiming transition with the same rifle at the practice range. Keep ammunition and stance consistent when comparing it with iron sights. The optic is a configuration choice, not a guarantee of better results in every encounter.

Pack a complete AK74 kit

A squad-focused rifle kit can carry bandages and smoke for recovery, while another task may justify different utility. Do not copy every optional item if doing so removes your reserve ammunition or leaves no room for the tool you need.

1. Select the AK74 and matching 5.45x39mm ammunition. Check the loadout menu for current acquisition and unlock costs.
2. Add filled spare magazines and reserve ammunition. Balance ready reloads against the space needed for medical supplies and your specialist tool.
3. Choose a backpack that holds the whole kit. Count magazine, ammunition, bandage and grenade stacks before committing to additional attachments.
4. Include the medical supplies your role needs. A kit intended to revive teammates should preserve the space and equipment needed for that job.
5. Choose an optic after the essential kit fits. Compare the Four Reticle Reflex with iron sights before adding more attachments.
6. Review total cost at the live vendor and reserve enough cash for another purchase. A practice-range total of $0 is not a live replacement budget.

Separate practice configuration from purchase cost

Use the loadout planner after checking your current shop. Fill the purchase and unlock fields separately; an optic’s item weight or compatibility does not tell you its price.

Keep a lower-cost fallback if your planned kit consumes too much of your balance. First remove optional attachments or utility you will not use, then reassess whether the remaining kit still has ammunition, storage and recovery supplies.
